Guest Reviews & Ratings
I felt transported to a different time at this charming hotel with its historic ambiance. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-stocked, creating a cozy retreat. The service was exceptional, with friendly and caring staff eager to share local stories and ensure a top-notch stay. The location was perfect, allowing easy access to the riverwalk and nearby attractions in the Savannah historic district. While the dining experience offered good food, the standard fare was on par with nearby breakfast spots. Overall, a delightful stay blending comfort with history.
The hotel had lovely and spacious rooms with comfortable four-poster beds, though it was a bit noisy for a light sleeper like me. The location was perfect for exploring the historic district and the riverfront; however, the dining options were limited and not very appealing.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable with antique decor, but they were very hot, noisy, and bright. The small size was a bit of a downside. The service was perfectly fine, and the staff, especially Sheilea, Melvin, and Steve, were all incredibly friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect for exploring the area on foot, close to many attractions, but it could get a bit loud being close to River St and Downtown. The dining experience was sufficient but not outstanding, and the price was reasonable for what was offered.
